Ya been thundering since this afternoon and now the rain is here. More storms to come tonight and then rain thru Thursday. Well hopefully that makes it a bit more humid so my nose stops bleeding every few days.

can you say RAIN....ALL week long as well as into the weekend, and the same temps with it---so the next bunch of days are ssdd
talk about nothing new to say about the weather!

sorry to hear about the nose, think mine finally became re-acclimatized so havent had much of that issue (congestion up the wazoo yep, but nothing red)...think there should be plenty of moisture in the air (my mold allergy is already complaining)

Supposed to cool down as well. 78 today but dropping until it reaches low 50's this Friday... Oh well. Still better than snow.

I think mine is starting too. I got a nose bleed Saturday night but it was just a little one with almost no blood coming out. So there was a plus.

we have been in the 40's to 60...with temps all in between those....and rain, and more rain, and you guessed it...MORE RAIN!
(though we might get some sun on friday for a few hours ...and then they say next week might be clear! /faint!!!!!)
I would say the farmers are happy about the rain---but they are not since they hadnt had a chance to get their fields planted yet. (perhaps they can do it in between the thunderstorms )

We are sitting around 55 today with some rain. Though right now it is sunny out. So there is that I guess.

Some places are far too wet for them to plant. But I'm sure they will get it in at some point soon.

supposed to be no rain next week and possibly back to normal temps (we have been below for most of this year, minus a few days)...so spring might finally be fighting its way here...

The weatherman said furnaces Thurs and Fri nights, to test the AC over the weekend, that we are going from late March to mid July, starting Monday. Highs in the mid to upper 80's all week.

Got a "hand me down" computer this week. Helped an old friend move some things to storage and he gave me his old desktop. Instead of upgrading from XP to Win 7, he bought a computer that had Win 7 on it. I spent almost 5 hours cleaning it up and removing lots of adware and a couple of viruses. Will check into upgrading to Win 7.

not a fan of 7 (but its waay better than 8!), hubby was doing some IT work this weekend as well--killed a Dell (I really am NOT a fan of dells so I was happy another one is dead), it was mostly dead already, but he thought he could rescue it (hahahaha)....and then had to work on a 7 machine---had issues with stuff not being in the spots he was looking for it etc (and yeah they had viruses up the ....)
Hubby has a 7 small laptop, had to use it last year, main issue with gw was its black window when you go to a new area (you see the new place, it goes black for a second or two and then reappears); NOT a fan of that. Also not a fan of the lack of tons of IT type stuff (yes I know how to type and use ip addys etc)...will never go to 8!!!

Its really nice you got a 'new' computer!!!

temps for the weekend...possible 60! (overnights in the 40's...no ovens here).

I'm not a fan of 8, but the new laptop came with it preinstalled. CBA to dl 7 though...life sucks.

In other news...its done nothing but rain for the last week. When I moved to the south of france I expected sun, but no. Rain rain rain.

lol
so its raining just about every place BUT southern california (which is currently having a drought and 90+ temps----Malice perhaps you should visit there, they need some rain )

I build my own computers, and hubby is IT so we can quickly deleted 8 if it ever happens to be in our humble abode (on the 3rd floor....good thing too with all the rain we have been having, got those ark plans out again----).

have plans to wash the cars tomorrow, so it will probably thunderstorm, hail and sleet --even though none of those in forecasted!

It is supposed to be 63 today. But it is only 53 at the moment. So I'm not sure if we will hit that.

3 weeks of school left. Almost there...

I like Windows 7. Windows XP is my favorite but since they have dropped support for it there is no way I am going back. Once you get used to Windows 7 it isn't too shabby at all. Do not want 8.

I need to do an oil change on my wife's car. We put new shocks and struts on the front of it yesterday and she says the ride is WAY better. But it needs an oil change. Might do that tomorrow if it doesn't rain.

got the cars done, and the temps are now about mid 60's--cant complain too much (though it was a bit windy and rinsing the cars got more than just me and the cars wet!).
Did the waxing at home and at least one car has a garage so even if it rains (tomorrow they say), one will still be nice an' shiny
Now my shoulders and hands need a massage (the car wash had high power washer that you have to squeeze pretty tightly to keep the high power on, and the soap brush is heavy and my suv is tall---you can do that math).

used 7 last year, have a few issues that I find annoying as compared to what I am used to with xp (and previous versions), ....no plans to change since hubby is IT and so is a good local friend--so I have better support than I ever got from micrsoft for it!

yes new struts can make a world of difference--had a new set on the corolla last year, the bumps dont feel quite as bad now.

Nice job on getting them done. Still need to wash ours. Just haven't had time. Or the drive yet. I'll do them eventually I think...

Had friends over for dinner last night. Was a great time. Might go help my buddy, who came over with his wife last night, remove some bushes today. Then in a month or so go take my tools over (I live in an apartment and have more tools than he does, he has a house) to help build a picnic table. I laughed when he told me he didn't have the tools to do it. But that is why I'm here.

I'm going to drive her car either today or sometime this week so I'm interested in seeing how it drives.

yeah, living in an apartment or condo for the last 30 years we have acquired tools, not everyone does this.
Nice weather today--bit cool, but no significant rain...though the birds already got our newly washed car (dang that tree )

I would think on would acquire more tools if they live in a house. Just due to the fact that there would be more reason to use them. I have them because my dad got new ones and I got his hand me downs. Some of which are still pretty nice.

Supposed to be 68 today and no rain. So it should be a nice day.

sometimes its easier to fix whats wrong than wait for whomever owns the unit to set up a time and such to ....fix it (especially when we both worked and most places wouldnt do things at night or on weekends). And then we got bunches when I had the CRX--car had issues in its later years--- And then got more when the other one lost them, and more when he lost those----only for me to find them again (years later and he then remembers, oh yeah, THATS where I put that! )....think I have about 5 of the same screw driver for that last reason.

And then my hubby thought he was a carpenter for a while, well the bookshelves he built, are, well, one is no longer standing (not that it did that well), and the other is bolted to the wall so it wont fall over (again); carpenter--not so much. So we have some tools from that hobby as well.

Its pretty dang amazing how much cra--stuff you accumulate over the years!

only supposed to be in the 50's today, but only like 20% chance of rain (at 30% we usually get rain, but 20 is a possibility that it wont happen). At least its not freezing and the S word is gone from the forecasts!

I fix some of the things around here as well. Other stuff we shouldn't touch so we tell the association about it and they are fairly timely in fixing it.

I'd love to be able to make my own bookshelves and such, but I don't have the space for it.. Guess I could do it at my folks house but I'm not sure how I would transfer it back... Though I guess I could do it in pieces.

Hit 68 today. Supposed to be 73 tomorrow. 86 on Wednesday. o.O Now we are talking.

you can have the one my hubby made, though of course, you will need to fix it so that it doesnt fall over and that when you put books on it it doesnt fall apart! (which is why it is still in pieces in the spare room).

some of the places we have lived they were good about getting things fixed quickly others were not. We just learned to fix them ourselves, saved time and kept nosey people from coming in our place (filed a police report for the theft that happened in one of our places, then we got a security system and never told the managers about it--since THEY were the ones who stole from us!!!)

Was nice today, almost normal temps..and NO RAIN /faint! supposed to get close to 80 for wednesday here and yes, thunderstorms..we get what we can here for the first real time this year of being ABOVE average temps!

Thanks but I think I'll pass. Unless I can remachine the parts to not fall over.

Wow, amazing how bad some places are and how then it always makes you wonder even when you find a good place to live. Just another reason to get a house someday...

Was very nice yesterday, and it is supposed to be even warmer today! 86 degrees for the high. o.O
